Catch Up.....

It has been a while and not that I don't like blogging but....it's just hard to find the time. Okay let's be real I am just lazy and instead of jumping online I would rather do so many other things. Enough excuses here is what has been going on.

We love the kids but it is always nice to get away. Even if it is only for a minute. If your asking if I golf the answer is......you already know, NO. Hey, someone has to drive the cart! Matt on the other hand is a great golfer and since he has been MIA to the game of golf for a while he decided it was time to get back to it

With the high temps the kids have been keeping cool by putting the sprinkler on the tramp, filling up the pool, and eating popsicles.

This is Coco! She is the Shah's newest family member. I know say it with me AAAAWWWWW...she is so cute! No really she is and Sesi loves her. He takes the camera and just stares at her picture and says her name. Looks like we might be getting a new family member too (I am talking about a dog!).

So in a nutshell that is what we have been up to. Nothing too exciting. Matt is working like crazy and I chase after Sesi all day. I wouldn't have it any other way but honestly the kid has so much ENERGY and ATTITUDE it literally sucks the life right out of me. I told Matt that sometimes I can't even look at Sesi due to the energy he takes away from me...:( Am I a bad Mama for saying that? Just being honest. Hey but that is why I love the stinker sooooooo much.

Freedom Festival

On Monday we went to the Provo Freedom Festival Parade. The Parade started at 9 AM but we were there much earlier. Matt and I had decided that we would go camp out and save spots for the parade. Normally we would not do this but kids make you do some crazy things!!! We got to Center Street at 3:30 AM and camped next to the "Honey Bucket" don't let the name fool you! You were not allowed to put your stuff out until 5 AM so you have to just hang around the spot you are trying to claim. After telling about 5 different groups of people that we are taking this area, the cops telling you that you need to move your stuff off the grass because it is too early, being freezing cold, and making sure your babies are snuggled and warm enough you really start to get delirious! Finally at 4:45 AM we were able to put all of our stuff out. Just when we thought we were in the clear and could get some rest a yelling fight breaks out next to us! Here are the boys sound asleep through it all!!!

Matt and I decided to give up on sleep altogether...slowly our family began to get there and then the parade started. That place was insane! After the parade we went to walk around. We checked out the booths, ate, and rode rides. I did not do a good job of taking pics. Blame it on the lack of sleep...here are a couple of the rides though.

We were so, so, so tired by the end of the day. Was it worth it? YES! It was all for the kids and the memories. Thanks to my wonderful hubby for dealing with me when I got to that past tired point and laughed hysterically in the early morning hours. Thanks to Jon & Tiff's family, the Shah's, and the Lui's for joining in on the fun.

Incredible Pizza

This past weekend was so busy and jam packed with activities I am still trying to catch up...on Sunday which was the 4th of July we went to Incredible Pizza. We met Reefy and Omar there and we all had fun! Really there is a lot to do, the prices are fair, and the thing I liked most is that it was clean!!! We did go karts (Sesi and I won), spinning bumpers cars, video games, laser tag, and my favorite game football pass! Not only were the games and rides fun but it was nice that the menu was not just pizza.

After Incredible Pizza we went to watch The Karate Kid. For some reason I thought Sesi would be alright through the movie....haha think again! I was that lady that you want to scream at and say "WTF, who honestly brings an 18 month old to a movie!" ummm...seriously that lady was me:( I really am sorry to those other people in the theater. Good thing it was Sunday and being in Utah it was not busy. It was a good day and we did not forget it was the 4th it was just harder to find patriotic activities since everything shuts down on Sunday. Was the movie good? The 15 minutes I saw were but that's as much as I can tell you. Asher, Omar, and Reefy said it was good though :)

Fireworks

Last night we went to the park to watch "Stadium of Fire" fireworks. While we were waiting for that firework show we had one of our own! Matt and Sharrieff had firework after firework going, a crowd began to gather, and before the end of the night we had about 3 more kids and we were able to reunite with our long lost cousin Joshua. Really though our firework show was GREAT! I think that "Stadium of Fire" might be calling soon. It was so much fun and the fireworks were GREAT! Jon, Katie, CJ, Andrew, Cooper, The Shah's and Mama and Papa Lui joined us for the festivities. Thanks for joining us! I think we may have started a new tradition:)

Sesi and His Many Faces

All I can say is he has a really BIG personality!!!
