Thursday night Matt and I had a date night and we spent the night listening to Gary Allan. All I can say is that it was such a GOOD concert! We have been wanting to go to Gary Allan for a couple of years now and we always miss it for one reason or another but this time we made sure we were there. It was well worth it! He sounds GREAT live and his entire show was entertaining! We will definitely be going every year!
It had been a while since I had been to a concert but it made me laugh to know that these things no matter what the concert will always exist....
1. There will always be an abundance alcohol.
2. There will always be that one person who dances from the opening band till the last song of the night. Did I mention that this person dances incredibly fast for the music almost as if there is a seizure taking place but only has one move? If you have seen this you know what I am talking about. There is at least one at every concert.
3. There is always a couple that makes you throw up in your mouth when you see them kiss or be affectionate. In our case it was a 25 year old woman whom we thought she was with Grandpa but when the kisses took place...well come on no one kisses their Grandpa like that no matter how close you are:( Not a good visual.
4. Last but not least there is and always will be those girls at the concerts who believe with everything that he is singing to them and directly to them...you know the girls who blow kisses, scream like they are dying, and swear that he just looked them in the eye over thousands of people.
If you go to a concert and don't experience these things that I have listed above then I am sorry my friend but you were ripped off!
All in all it was a great night! A huge thanks to our wonderful babysitter. Thanks mom!
