Manti Pool

Usually when we go to Ephraim we normally grab lunch and head to the park. This time we decided to try out the Manti pool. It was fun as usual and as you can probably tell by now the boys absolutely love the water!!!So what else do we do besides swim?...Hang out with our cousins of course!!!

Snowbird Part 2

We also rode the tram which kept going higher and higher. It was beautiful when we got to the top not to mention freezing!!! This is the view from the top...Next it was off to the Alpine Slide. Asher rode with Matt and Sesi rode with me. There are no pics of the slide but here are some on the lift up...
We walked around for a bit. Matt and Asher went to the Children's Playground while Sesi napped. We met up for dinner and ended the day swimming.
It was a lot of FUN! It was far enough away but close enough that we could get home quickly if needed. In the end Matt and I were EXHAUSTED...

Snowbird

For Father's Day weekend we went to Snowbird. They had a lot of summer activities going on so we decided to try it out. First the boys checked out the room and balcony. It got a thumbs up.The trampoline bungy looked like too much fun to pass up. Matt, Asher and I did it but since Sesi was too small he had to settle for the bounce house...

FATHER'S DAY!

To my wonderful hubby! I hope that you have a wonderful Father's Day! Matt is the most loving, understanding, and fun Dad ever!!! I know that Asher and Sesi adore him and I love him so much for that. He is super patient with them and always tells them that he loves them even when he has to discipline. We love you!

Yes, Another Birthday!

The Pool

Finally the weather was sunny enough to go to the pool! We were so excited that the weather got the memo that it is Summer so we went to the Lindon pool yesterday. Asher and Omar ran around with their squirt guns pretending to be on a mission, Sesi thought he was Mr. Independent floating in his swimming ring, there was a mini tornado when a burst of wind came through and blew a canopy, umbrella, and swim floats into the air, and oh yeah and their was a brief moment of WTF when we thought that we had lost Asher. When it was all said and done it was a fun day!
Last night after we had rested for a bit we went to Farr's to get some ice cream. It was really good but really crowded. I have never been in a more chaotic place all over ice cream. I should have known though...put together Utah county, Friday night & ice cream and yeah it is pretty much a nightmare. The ice cream was good though. Outside Asher & Omar decided to show off their karate moves. Thanks for coming Jen & Omar we had a blast!

Happy Birthday Mama! Yes, today is my Mom's birthday and even though she is in Vegas I wanted her to know that we are thinking about her.

Dry Canyon

Last week we decided to get out and enjoy the fresh air. We were disappointed that it was overcast but thought it would be good to take advantage of the beautiful mountains that are right in our backyard. We ended up hiking Dry Canyon. Matt used to run Dry Canyon a few years ago and since I had never been we had been wanting to go (by run I do not mean "work" I am talking about physically running up a mountain....I know he is nuts). We packed a few things and headed out. It turned out to be the perfect hiking weather. Not only was the weather great but the scenery was as well. Matt got the fun job of hauling Sesi in the baby carrier. I got the fun job of swatting all the bugs away from my face and jumping 10 feet anytime I heard a noise in fear that a wild animal was about to attack. All the while my husband and baby were laughing at how funny mommy is.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHER!

Can you believe that he is 5??!!! I know we cannot believe it either. His favorite color is GREEN (which changes monthly), his favorite foods are pizza, key lime yogurt, and lunchables. His favorite movie is How To Train Your Dragon. He also likes to ride his bike, play with his friends, watch movies, color, do puzzles, and play with his little brother.

This year for Asher's party we rented a bounce house and it was a big hit! Thank you to all those who came out to celebrate Asher's birthday with us!

Splish, Splash...

We decided to sign Sesi up for swim lessons to get him familiar with the water since it is officially summer. We weren't sure what to expect but so far so good. He knows to hold his breath to go under the water, he knows how to kick but will do it on his terms only, and as far as trying to get him to float...well that's not going so well and he has no problem being vocal about it. Good thing he is cute!

It's What FUN Is!!!

Memorial weekend we went to Lagoon. The kids were great, the weather was great and to sum it all up we had a GREAT time! Here are some pics from our fun day at Lagoon...

Next time hopefully Sesi will like the rides more. He is more of people watcher right now and we all know that Lagoon is the place to people watch. Asher is getting older and wants to do anything and everything. It is so cute because even if he is scared he doesn't admit it. I can't believe how big the boys are getting! Thanks Mom and Dad for a FUN day!!!

The baby of the Lui family graduated from high school on May 25th. We are so proud of you Jakey!!! After the graduation we ended the night eating of course. It was so fun to have everyone together and celebrate. We missed Jen and Jenohn!
